How do I use the Mic?

I recently bought the xbox one x and I want to be able to talk on the games using the built in Mic, but how do I set that up? I'm told it comes with the built in Kinect? but how do I set up my Kinect? It didn't come with an adapter or anything. Everytime
I go to Settings to do it, it says I need to plug the Kinect in, but the Kinect is built in right? I'm confused..

Why is something built into the Xbox One X, but wont let me use it? Same thing with the camera.. how do I access the Camera and Mic that's built in? Part of the reason why I bought the console in the first place was because it had these features.

It is for PC but it is easy see what how it will translate over to the console.

Hi there,

We aren't sure where you received this information, but no, there is no Kinect hardware built into the console. No built in mic or camera. You would have to use a headset or headphones to use voice features. The adapter for a Kinect is sold separate or you
can use a USB camera to quickly use video features. We hope this clears up some confusion here.

I get that.....but the app is not recognizing my mic. I have to talk using the phone mic. this is not optimal for gaming. How do i get the app to recognize the headset mic on bluetooth?

I do know how to use hyperX as a headset (plug in to controller).

I just want to use it's mic and use DT 1990 as headphones for gaming

I need people to play with who have mics AND are capable of talking to me. That would be lovely. Nobody ever talks.
