How do I use my discs on my Xbox one S model? (There isn't a disc drive)

Without a disc drive you would need to own the games digitally in order to be able to play them. There's no way around that.

and to add, all your progress is in the cloud not on disc.

You can still get xbox one s/x with a disk just make sure not to buy the digital edition or series s

Pretty sure gamestop or BestBuy have a few still

I have an Original Xbox one, the first model before the one s and one x. This affects my gaming as I think the problem is my disc drive. My xbox wont take or eject discs when I press the eject button, so I cant play games due to this problem

Are you planning to upgrade your monitor to a higher resolution model like 1440P or 4K?

Do you have these games on disc or as digital purchases?

The Series S has no Blu-ray optical drive so if your Xbox One games are on disc, you'll need to buy them again on the Series S. If the cost of re-buying your games is going to be expensive, then the Series S isn't for you. You'll be better off with a Series
X as you can use your current owned disc games on that straight away.

I'm getting a Series S on launch, I only have a few disc games, but the main reason I went for the S is because I couldn't get an X on pre-order day. But I do intend to replace my S with an X later.
