how do I use my account money before my credit card

When you select your credit card it should ask if you want to use the remaining funds in your account first. Then it will charge the remainder to your card.

I dont use a credit card on my account so its saying no valid payment options but have money on my account. How do I fix this?

Ive used money i had on my microsoft account before but ive never put a direct credit card on there and a few minutes after putting it on there it doesnt show up in my payment options for xbox

How did you purchase it? Money on your account or credit card. If money on your account they may wait to give you the month of Gamepass when the money comes out. I've preordered the game as well but with money on my account. That money still hasn't been
deducted yet. They do that about 10 days before release.
