How do I use clubs with the new update?

Based on the description, you are having issue with accessing clubs through Xbox app. Let us check and see on what we can do to help address your concern in a timely manner.

You are correct that Xbox Console Companion app on Windows 10 is moving to Xbox app. You can use Xbox Game Bar Windows to take control of all your favorite gaming activities while playing on your Windows 10/11 device. To use Xbox game bar, make sure that your Windows is up to date.

By the way, to use looking for group on Xbox game bar, make sure your online and privacy settings to create and join clubs, can join multiplayer and communicate with voice and texts or invites are enabled in your settings. If your account is child account, only parent can make changes with the setting.

Here is how:

• Log in to https://account.xbox.com/settings
  
• In the navigation tabs, click Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety
  
• Select Allow for You can create and join clubs, and You can join multiplayer games.
  
• Then click Submit.
  

To enable chat for people not on the child's friends list:

In the table header:

1. Click Privacy
   
2. Select Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites.
   
3. Select Friends or Everyone then click submit.
   

To enable adding and removing friends

1. In the navigation tabs click Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety
   
2. Select Allow for You can add friends.
   
3. Press Submit.

Hey Tomm_A, thanks for the reply, but the information you have given me is not helpful. I checked the website and both were on 'Allow'. I just want to know how to use clubs on Windows 10 with the Xbox CC app moving to the Xbox app.

Could you please expand on how exactly we can 'use clubs', (in my case, join a club), using the Xbox Game Bar? I have scoured the game bar and still see no mention of it anywhere in there.

SigmaTheDJ is correct that Xbox app is missing several features from Xbox Console Companion app has offered. To use clubs utilize Xbox Game Bar or press Windows key + G on your keyboard.

Basically there is no way for you to access Xbox Clubs now. I think Microsoft is getting rid of clubs in the future. They've pretty much eliminated them everywhere except on the console and they're pretty hidden there. I'm a club owner and not very happy myself, as I used the companion app on pc to manage my club. There are no ways to access Xbox clubs on pc or mobile at the moment.
