How do I unlink my XBox One X from Microsoft Store?

So I've been trying for 2 days to unlink my XBox from the Microsoft Store. There a button for it. Everytime I try is say you can't do it at the moment please try later.

I phoned XBox support and they didn't understand what I was talking about and kept harping on about Device manager...I've done that, I've removed my XBox from devices I now need to Unlink my XBox from the Microsoft Store.

There is an Unlink button!!!

So any ideas how to do this, someone must have a solution.

Nope, I've done that, I have removed my XBox One X from devices.

If you scroll down you will see Microsoft Store Device Management.

If you then Click on Manage you will see a list of your devices linked to the Microsoft store.

Its from here I have the problem when I click on Unlink my Xbox One X it says it can't at the moment please try later.

I have been trying for 2 days and am getting the same error.

Believe you can unlink it from your account by doing the following on website go to microsoft account

https://account.microsoft.com/devices/

Click on your device and you should see a page that has warranty info serial number etc you will also see a click link that has a drop down menu labelled as "manage"

From there its quite easy.

Easiest is unlinking your wrong Skype account from your Microsoft account from your computer's browser. Follow the instructions here:

After unlinking you can start the linking process again and pick the right Skype account this time around:

It sounds like there's some kind of confusion between Skype accounts and Microsoft accounts. Sign in to Skype on the web with to unlink your accounts, and then you can re-launch Skype on Xbox One to link the Skype account you want to the Microsoft account
that you use on your Xbox.

Recently my account was compromised and connected to a random nintendo switch. Now I have no clue as to how to unlink the nintendo switch from my account as the only forums I've seen about this situation if you have access to the nintendo switch. I dont have access to the switch so how do I unlink the account from my Microsoft one?

The problem with unlinking this is gonna be the fact that its your Microsoft account is linked to the switch account and not the other way around.

The linking process starts on Nintendo's end. Therefore unlinking it would also have to be done from Nintendo's end.
