    How do I uninstall a game completely from my Xbox One S?


    I uninstalled games I don't play anymore and my space is still at 1TB on a 2TB Xbox One S so did these games really uninstall? I mean why don't I have the extra space now to install games I want to play? What am I missing?

    Deleting digital game from gamertag?

    I bought the xbox one madden bundle and downloaded madden but the xbox started making a lot of noise so I had to take it back and get a new one. I want to download the digital code for madden from my new xbox but the madden from the xbox i took back is still
    attatched to my gamertag. How to I completely delete the game (not uninstall) so I can download my new digital code? thank you.

    How do I uninstall a game completely from my Xbox One S?

    Hey there IntenseJames!

    Once you install a game it should free up some space, was there any DLC that you didn't remove from the games? Also, since unintsalling, have you tried a power cycle on your Xbox One by holding the power button for 8-10 seconds until your Xbox One powers off?

    You can thru power shell but it won't do you that much good the libraries are only a few mbs

    And it will be reinstalled in the next update everytime

    The libraries arent just used for gaming

    It includes core parts of the direct x libraries

    Basically it is tightly integrated into windows

    Only way to avoid it is Windows S

    But even then because of the libraries being shared you will never be rid of it
