    Turn off 2FA, re-enter the email to download the account, then if the password screen shows up, turn the 2FA back on and put in the app password that it generates. Worked for me

    So we tried to do that but I have no way to turn on the gifting function. The epic account that my son uses is under her email. The new one that is set up on the xbox just keeps saying you need to activate the 2fa. but how?
