    How do I transfer the money from a gift card to another account


    I accidentally put a 100 dollar gift card on one of my accounts, instead of my main one and I am now wondering if I can put that money into my main account. If not then Microsoft, you assisted me in losing 100 dollars

    Transfer redeemed gift card

    So I was going to transfer some money to one of my family members, and I did exactly what the Xbox' "volunteers" said: I redeemed the gift card on MY account and then I was going to look for a link or something that could transfer my gift card to another
    family member. But I didn't find a link.. So now lays lots of money on an account that never plays games. The worst part is that we just could redeem the gift card on HIS account, not mine.. So can I just refund my gift card or just transfer it to another
    account? It's very annoying that so much money is on an account that never play games.

    I have 2 Microsoft accounts: one that I use for Xbox and one for everything else. I just redeemed a gift card to the wrong one (not the one I use for Xbox). I have not used any of it's credits yet. How can I transfer the gift card from one of my accounts,

    Hi, Money cannot be transferred from one account to another. Your only option would be to purchase a gift card for that account.

    I was redeeming an xbox giftcard and accidentally redeemed it on the wrong account. Is there a way I can possibly refund it or transfer it to a different account on the same xbox.

    There is no way to get a refund, as it was a gift card, and there is no way to transfer it to another account. Is this gift card just money, or virtual currency for a game? If it is just money, then you can still purchase games with it, by purchasing the game as a gift for the account you want the game on. If it is virtual currency for a game, then there is nothing that can be done to move it to another account, so your only option would be to use it on the account you redeemed it on.

    I apologize but it is not possible to transfer or move Xbox gift card credits from one account to another. Once a gift card has been redeemed on an account, the credits are tied to that account and cannot be transferred to a different account.

    The gift card would be automatically deposited into your account. There is currently no way to transfer a gift card to another account through Rewards.
