How do I transfer Flight Sim 2024 onto a new computer?

The game should be in your library in either the Xbox app or Microsoft app and you can install it from there as long as you're signed into the same account that purchased it. It doesn't need to be deleted from the last PC.

Thanks for the response, I'm trying to run the significantly older Microsoft flight sim X deluxe on my new computer, but wondering if it's to old of a version to do so.

Had same problem. Finally restarted computer and flight sim loads no problem. It seems to me that this will happen if you visit the App store and games then later try and start the flight sim. So either restart your computer or stay away from the App store if you are going to load flight sim. Well MS will fix it one day.

Do you have access to the 25 character code included in the disc, or did you already redeem the code included in the physical edition?

If your answer is affirmative in both cases, you should be able to re-download the game by following these steps once redeemed the code:

1. Open the Xbox app on your PC.

2. Sign in with the account you used to redeem the Microsoft Flight Simulator code.

3. Go to “Library”, it's located in the left pane.

4. The game should be listed there if you're on the correct account, then just click on it and click “install”.

Hiya!!

Unfortunately you will not be able to install the Microsoft Flight Sim X software back onto your PC without the DVD Drive. They are working on a newer version of the Flight Sim for PC which I believe will offer a digital version.
