How do i take control of a controller share on a friends stream?

Ok, so I figured out that to get game audio/chat to work while streaming, we had to hook the controller up to the computer we are streaming to via USB. The headset stayed plugged into the controller. Yay! Game audio AND chat!

NEXT PROBLEM: there seems to be no way to control game volume/chat volume while streaming. We have mute chat at the top, but that is all. The computer volume controls do not affect the stream, and the volume controls on the controller adapter also seem to
do nothing.

How do you control game/chat volume while streaming?

Easily "Record that/Screenshot" and Mixer.

• You did something hilarious in game and think, "a shame this isn't recorded". Wrong buddy, it actually is and you can share it to your friends .

• Starting a stream with like 2-3 button presses (and taking over controls) is very nice, too.
  

If you know how to get Microsoft to take back a controller, please tell me. I have a malfunctioning controller as well, and have not succeeded in getting them to take it back.

As for the malfunctioning sync button, it should be easy to see what is wrong if you take the controller apart. [Mod Removed - Please do not share self repair options on the forums] Of course, Microsoft could deny you a return if you open
the controller, but I am not sure. Proceed with caution.
