My gamertag "Green" was I believe changed in error , how am I supposed to open a case?

How do I submit a case review on xbox enforcement? I went to my enforcement history and it says I have been banned for 24 hours. There is no link for me to submit a case review.

Hi! Unfortunately, Xbox Support do not handle Enforcement. Only the Enforcement Team handles issues such as yours and they do not come to the forums.

You'd need to visit Xbox Enforcement Profile click on the Hammer Icon and submit a Case Review if you are eligible.

Hi there,

since it shows you have a perfect record, it means nothing was recently enforced on your account, which would include a forced Gamertag change. So Since it shows a perfect record there likely hasn't been any GT changes etc recently.

Keep in mind that a Case Review is only available for 'recent' actions, actions taken towards an account that are a couple of years old will not have a Case Review option anymore.

Just to be sure to check if your account was only affected by a Gamertag change or did you loose all achievements too?

If that is the case it might have happened that somehow a new Xbox Live Account was created on top of the correct one.

If that is the case then you will have to contact Xbox Support via Phone Or Microsoft Support Chat at

they should be able to check if there are indeed two Xbox Live Accounts connected to the same email address and advise in the steps to take

 

My gamertag was changed from "Green" to this 26 hours ago. It was wrongfully changed buddy

 

Hi, as suggested in answer to your previous thread on this subject. Have you checked your details at https://account.microsoft.com to ensure all personal details are correct. Check
your order history to see if there is a gamertag charge. As stated a third party may of gained access or as stated above, inadvertently created a new account.

One thing I have noticed is a zero gamerscore on Green and 130 on the changed one. Now if you had Green for sometime, I would of thought the gamerscore would be higher. Same for your new tag, very low score for a long existing gaming account, something points
to two seperate accounts

 

Yeah, mainly all I play are Call of Duty multiplayers, the achievements you earn on those are minimal to none.

 

Seeing that you're unable to create a Case review in this situation for whatever reason. Your best bet in this situation is to reach out and start a Support Chat with an official Xbox Support agent.
