    How do I stretch videos to 16:9 with xbox game bar


    I usually play on a smaller resolution then my actual screen (1024 x 720), this helps me get higher fps + better aim

    When I try to record last 15 seconds with the "clip that" feature on it comes out as not 16:9, I would prefer it if the video got stretched to fit 16:9, does anyone know how I can do that?

    Select Console Settings.
    Select Screen.
    Select HDTV Settings.
    Select the appropriate screen resolution for your TV or monitor.

    They only support 16:9

    if you try to use 21:9 you'll only get 16:9 image with the black bars on each side or an over stretched image for 21:9

    21:9 aspect ratio is currently not supported.

    You can only get 1920x1080 and set your TV to 16:9 and have black bars on the sides to avoid the stretching your TV will do to the 16:9 signal.

    Yes, the recommended is 1366 x 768 (16:9), however I would prefer to play on a 4:3 ratio. usually, when I get good clips in games I use xbox game bar to clip since it drops not much FPS unlike other softwares. Before, I used to use medal however it would drop a lot and in medal clipping there was a feature that was "make clips stretch to 16:9" which would make my 4:3 clips get stretched to be 16:9 and I was wondering if this feature existed on xbox game bar

    I am on laptop and I would prefer not to change my resolution, I am unsure if what I am asking for is stupid

    xbox 360/one and which monitor..... 27" IPS 2560x1440 OR 29" IPS ????

    You will get some serious black bars on the side with the 21:9 aspect ratio on the 29" with consoles which default at 16:9. They are great to use in portrait for secondary monitors or for large displays if you watch a lot of movies, but I wouldn't want one
    as my main PC and gaming monitor. For PC work monitors I always liked 16:10 since you can stretch 16:9 and barely notice it. I would go with the 27" 16:9 monitor.
