How do I stream xbox game to PC now?

The new xbox app on PC does not appear to allow me to stream my xbox to my PC any longer, Smart glass does not allow it either.

So how do we do this now.

I want to stream XBOX to PC so that I can use OBS to stream to Mixer.

To stream your Xbox to your PC, you need to download the Xbox Console Companion.

Make sure that your Xbox and your PC is in the same network.

Xbox One system.

You can not stream xbox 360 games to your PC (xbox 360 can't do that) BUT you can stream them through the windows 10 xbox app and have it connected to your xbox one that is playing a

backwards compatible xbox 360 game. You'll get achievements while you do it that way.

I made the switch from PC to Xbox 360 back in the day, and stayed with Xbox the entire time. I do have a gaming PC and laptop now, but its used for streaming my xbox content.
