    Major Youtube Commentators use a capture card and stream a different way.

    @eggnogga @silkyjj thats actually what i originally wanted to do. How does a capture card work ? would i need to buy anything else? will i need to hook my X1 to my PC?

    With a capture card will i be able to stream live to twitch? if so i would buy a capture card today ! please give me more details on how this works.. instructions. & what capture card you recommend

    There is no direct official way to do so without a capture card. You may want to try YouTube or Google for more info on that though. how do i stream via youtube without a capture card :)

    You can stream on Xbox, I stream with a capture card so it is possible. I am not sure if you can without a capture card. Youtube it.

    You can not live stream directly from the console to youtube.

    However if you have a capture card, you can download and OBS software to your pc and stream to YouTube that way.

    Id look into a community forum on reddit, or watch some tutorial videos to learn how to use the capture card to stream.

    No, Twitch has an app that allows you to do it, and Mixer streaming is built in. If you wanted to stream directly to YouTube or Facebook you would need to reach out to those companies and request that they make an app that enables that to happen. That's
    just to have this stream happen natively directly from the Xbox without a capture card.

    If you're unfamiliar with capture cards or how they work, I would
    direct you to this article from Windows Central which covers some options and the basics.

    If you have some direct questions or requests on getting that configured, we'd be happy to help. But for now, YouTube would have to make an app that allowed streaming for it to happen without additional resources.
