How do I stop sharing with my brother

I was given a code for save the world on fortnite and I redeemed it, I was playing on it and then the day after I redeemed the code my brother said he got save the world for free the exact day I redeemed the code. I think I’m sharing downloads and content
with my brother, how do I stop this?

If not you can setup your console as your home xbox by following these steps

Press the Xbox button to open the guide. Select
System > Settings > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox. Review the information,
and then do one of the following: Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console
asyour home Xbox.

 

he has a different Xbox to me. To make this clear, we don’t play on the same Xbox, we have our own, how do I stop sharing?

 

You would need to set your own console as your Home console using the instructions posted above.

 

I did that but there’s a button that says “Remove this as my home Xbox” should i press that or is it already fixed?

 

That means it is already fixed.

 

If you use only one account no you can stop but if your brother accesses your then it would be another matter, do you have two separate profiles?

 

now my brother has a error message when he tries to play a game saying “To play this, the owner needs to sign in Alternatively, guests can play if the owner makes this their home Xbox. Pls help

 

If he hasn't actually purchased it himself, but was only playing it by sharing it with you, he'll get that message.

Either he would need to purchase them on his account or you would have to share with him again.

Also, keep in mind you can only change your Home Xbox 5 times in a year.
