How Do I Stop Random People Adding Me?

How do I stop random people adding me to their friends lists? On Xbox One, it's not like the Xbox 360. With the Xbox 360 we can choose if we want to accept or decline a friends request and the person sending me one doesn't have me in their friends list.
With the Xbox One people add me to their friends list even when I don't want to be in their friends list. I've already had somebody causing me problems and after blocked that person he got some of his friends to add me and now I'm getting more random people
I don't know adding me. Not everyone wants to be followed. This is how internet stalking starts and then **** start doing it to kids. I thought Microsoft would know better to help keep people safe.

The friends system needs to be changed

The friends system on Xbox one in my opinion needs to be reverted back to how it used to be on Xbox 360,I don't know about other people but i constantly have the problem of random players adding me and this does get annoying as I mostly don't remember playing
with them and i get random invites from these players. Unlike the Xbox 360 friend requests you have to accept it,which i believe is a better system than how it works on Xbox One.

In conclusion I believe that in the future you should have to accept friend requests to stop these random invitations from random players you do not wish to play with or constantly receive.

microsoft had a way of dealing with interactions with others, and it was perfect as it was. They changed it to inforce this **** social nonsense and no one can opt out. Stopping people seeing you on line doesnt stop them adding you, stalking you and annoying
you. And even it did, why would a “block everyone” solution work when you can just ignore friend requests and thats the end of it? Maybe he wants to be added by people he likes, and not have to piss about with settings every time.

It wasnt broken, why try to fix it? Turning xbox into some horrible social media **** show is why its lagging behind the PS4. Xbox might have the better machine, but this treating customers like **** is doing them in. Started with windows ten treating everyone
like a moron, forcing updates and now this forced social media ****.
