    How do I stop Fifa re-downloading the initial download?


    This is the 3rd time since Fifa 18 has come out that my Xbox had turned on and when I try to start up Fifa, it says that I need to update and then it does the original ~700MB download. Now it has gone one step furthur and I have yo re-install Fifa on my
    Xbox. It did this more than 5 times for Fifa 17 and I don't know what to do. Please someone help me!

    try re downloading fifa i had the same problem. delete fifa 18 then reinstall

    FIFA 18 Early Access freezes at start

    Bought and downloaded FIFA 18 early access with additional packages 2 days ago. On playing the game it freezes after the initial cinematic Ronaldo foul and free kick. Cannot access game afterwards. Tried various remedies like re - starting my xbox one, downloading
    game again and switching router off and on again. Nothing has worked. Where do I go from here ?

    Something must have gone wrong on the initial download.

    It's dependent on the game and how much of the installation involves an initial update. My Battlefield starting running after about "13%" which wasn't long after the download had finished. FIFA's installation was playable nearly right away because the initial
    update was smaller.

    That being said, my experience was with a disc. It may be different for an entirely digital download.

    Hi there! Please head into your system's memory and delete the pass, then do this:

    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache     restart your console and re-download it. That should stop the loop for you! :)
