How do I start Fallout 3 on my laptop.

I’ve carried out some research and discovered the below webpage which provides 6 methods to hopefully solve the issue. They consist of:-

1) Play in Windowed mode
2) Edit your configuration file
3) Change compatibility and run Fallout 3 as administrator
4) Update your graphics card drivers
5) Reinstall Fallout 3
6) Repair corrupted system files

So I got it to work finally, here’s what I had to do:

1. Download Fallout Shelter onto my Windows Laptop

2. Start the game and save over the downloaded sync file

3. Shut down my laptop

4. Turn on my Xbox One

5. Delete my local save file for Fallout Shelter on my Xbox One

6. Restart my Xbox One

7. Launch Fallout Shelter on my Xbox One

8. After being prompted, select “Sync my latest data.”

9. Game works.

To start with, it is GAMES FOR WINDOWS and how is it that they managed to do it for Fallout 3 and Dirt 3. The main reason I bought Skyrim for PC is that I thought the achievements would be added to my gamer score like it did with them two games. ( It sucks
if they haven't made it for Skyrim)

Now, when I put the disc in, I am asked ''do you own this game'' before being directed to the Xbox store to BUY IT!

It's the drive...or more specifically the way you're loading the disc. Mine does that if I "grip" the disc for a nano second too long when it tries to feed. Lol. Would much prefer a sliding tray.

Every gaming system has its quibbles. If the X Box One is not for you...it's not for you! Lol. Good luck on whatever you decide.

^^ Guys, I think he is actually asking how he boots the game from the Xbox One's interface.

Put in the disc, you should see a GIANT Fallout 4 picture under the "Home" section, click "A", wait for the game to install, then the game should start.
