Then, reset the Microsoft Store:

Press the Windows key +R

Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.

Follow the prompts.

Restart your PC.

Afterwards, please, download the Gaming Services Repair tool:

Once downloaded, execute the file by right-clicking on it and selecting Run as Administrator.

Follow the prompts and check if the issue was resolved.

I get how confusing and frustrating this can be, especially when Minecraft tells you your PSN is already linked, but you’re sure you’ve only used one account. You’re not alone in this. I’ve seen others run into the same problem, and I’ll help guide you through it.

Since this is a public forum, I don’t have access to accounts, but here’s how you can try to fix it:

What’s likely happening:

Once a PSN account is linked to a Microsoft account, it cannot be unlinked or relinked to another. Even if you accidentally created or signed in with a different Microsoft account before, that link becomes permanent on PlayStation.

Here’s what you can try:

Make sure you’re signing into the same Microsoft account you used the first time you linked it.

Try checking your other email addresses, including any you rarely use at https://account.microsoft.com, to see if Minecraft or Xbox is listed there under “Privacy & online safety” or “Your info.”

If you signed in with the wrong Microsoft account once, the PSN is now permanently linked to it, even if it was an accident.

You can confirm which Microsoft account is linked to your PSN by trying to sign in at:

https://aka.ms/remoteconnect

Use your console’s code when prompted — it will show you what Microsoft account is already linked.

Unfortunately, Mojang/Microsoft support cannot unlink PSN accounts. They have stated that once linked, it’s permanent due to data agreements.

Your options now are:

If you can recover that original Microsoft account, even if it’s unused, sign in with it to continue playing

If you can’t access it or it was a throwaway email, your only option would be to create a new PSN account and link it to your current Microsoft account
