How do i sign back into my account.

I cannot sign into my account, for the last week my xbox has been extremely slow and nothing was loading so i decided to reset my whole xbox. I now go to set it up try and add my account back, a loading screen appears and then nothing happens it just takes me to the home page. It wont even let me put it an email address so changing the password will not work as i cant even select forgotten password. My wifi is also fine, infact everythings fine cus i checked xbox status and everythings up and running. What the hell am i supposed to actually do

From what I understand, you forgot your credentials for your main Xbox account, is that correct? Unfortunately we cannot help you with that here since it is a Microsoft public forum where we are all players like you who help other players but who are having basic problems such as games or console problems.

Having said that, there is an account recovery form which you must fill out with some information that you remember (The account email is mandatory). There they will verify, according to the information provided, that you are the owner of the account, therefore they will give you access again.

I'm sorry to hear about this issue. Have you tried connecting your Xbox to a different network or using a wired connection to see if that allows you to sign in?

If you're able to sign in at https://account.xbox.com/en-us/Profile without any issues, then your account is fine. It’s possible that your Xbox isn't getting enough bandwidth from your internet connection, preventing it from signing in.

In the meantime, try connecting through a mobile hotspot to see if you can sign in. If that doesn't work, try using a wired (Ethernet) connection and check if that resolves the issue.

On which platform are you having problems signing in through?

Are you able to sign in at Xbox.com?

If you are having problems on an Xbox One, I'd try to remove your profile and redownload if from the cloud if you do have both your password and email correctly.

Try doing so following the steps here on
How to add or remove a Microsoft account on Xbox One and let us know how that helps in resolution of the issue
