  1. How do I set up my Link Buddy?

I have been told that you have one friend that you can share all digital content with back and forth. Is this true?? How do I go about setting this up? Is it worth it? Do they have to have their xBox on also in order for me to play a game that's one
their Hard Drive? I have soo many questions with no-one to answer..hopefully my fellow members of the community can help me!

    :)

you just have to set your friends Xbox as your "Home" xbox, and your Xbox is setup as your friends home Xbox. it's completely up to you if it's worth it or not.

you have to remember that Xbox Live and all digital content is tied to the gamer tag, and whatever Xbox you have setup as your "Home" Xbox will have access to your Xbox Live account and all of the content associated.

and i don't think this is really an official feature, and MS might end up putting a stop to it.

Why would M.S. put a stop to it? It's just two people sharing one purchase; wasn't the original vision 10 people sharing one purchase? ;-) Sorry, couldn't resist!

I am under the impression that this "share" feature is being used for purposes other than intended. My guess is this feature was devised for X Box One s in the same household. Otherwise wouldn't M.S. be screaming this feature from the hilltops? It definitely
would be a great selling point.

    Peace, J.R.

If this was a problem in MS's eyes, it would have never been implemented and would have been scrapped the first week. Funny how people say it is bad and stealing, cheating and such but it is OK to lend a disc out.. to an unlimited amount of people... all
    at the same time...

Only one person at a time can play a disc. The "Home" console "workaround" that is gaining in popularity, means two people can play at the same time. Also with a disc, someone has to have it physically in the console for it to work, which means you're either
mailing it, handing it over, or driving it somewhere. I believe the "grey" area of sharing digital is handing over you account information, which is in direct violation of the T.O.U.. ;-)

Personally think it's a great feature! Why isn't M.S. marketing it? Because they can take it away...at anytime...if developers/publishers decide it's costing them money.

Which is exactly why I don't take advantage of it. I'd rather not play a bunch of games that a friend owns only to lose them sometime down the road if and when they change their minds.
