    How do I set my Nickname as Display name?


    How do your display name your nickname, like say your gamer tag is IaMsWeAt23, but your actual name is Jäger Main, how do you make it Jäger Main? I’ve seen people do that.

    Hi!

    The name displayed is the nickname with which you created in your account on the call of duty page.

    Beware: Gamertag "nickname" and "nick name" are the same

    My original gamertag was 10 characters long and the new one with space is 11. So I think it has nothing to do with character limit.

    And yes I was given that prompt where I was told my new gamertag will be "nick name" and my old one "nickname" will be available for anyone.

    Interestingly I can choose "nickname" on the account where I changed the gamertag to "nick name" (for a price of course) but not on the other one where I intended to use "nickname" gamertag.

    Toasti, toaste, toasti3, toastie, toastee, toastist.

    Why do you want toasty, is it a nickname and tell us how you got the nickname if so or do you like toast maybe? It sounds daft but that's how you might get a name you like, by thinking about why you like it.

    It was ages ago that I checked the names that I mentioned and they all had what seemed to be the old LIVE logo as a gamerpic so were reserved or registered on an old XBOX, not 360.
