How do I set English as my main language and Sweden as my country?

Since it was not possible to set English as my language setting when choosing Sweden as a country I set the UK. This turned out to be troublesome when I wanted to set my credit card and my address is in Sweden.

We live in a global society. Not everyone in Sweden has Swedish as their first language. I very much prefer English. How can I enter my correct address (in Sweden) while using my preferred language (English)?

Xbox One - English speaker in Finland

I live in Sweden and although I speak basic Swedish, I come from the UK so English is my preferred language, I find it irritating for the same reasons as the above as well as when I do set my location to UK to get English as my interface language, I then
have no access to my Swedish credit card info, needless to say it's a bit annoying.

 

Huge localization issue

something that is starting to seriously rustle my jimmies is this:

I'm Swedish and live in Sweden, in order to fully utilize the store I need to set location to Sweden, but lo and behold - someone made the decision to not allow me to use English as my system language or spoken language to English. I have no idea why you
won't let me do that?

This basically means that the Kinect becomes an expensive piece of useless crap unless I, as I do now keep going back and forth between locations (restarting every time I decide to do something).

Seems like an easy fix, I also notice that the British location setting yields a much more updated and interesting start screen.

tl;dr :You seem to have forgotten to keep language &spoken language on the Xbox independent from location. You should probably fix that, there are many here who can't even speak proper Swedish and have to rely on English.

Let me, being in Sweden. Still select language & spoken language as English. Please. It ruins the experience not to be able to.

p.s even if you enable Swedish as a spoken language I would with 99% certainty never use it. Let me use English.

You can't as far as I know.

It will always show everything in your country's native language,Swedish in your case.

A lot of people want this to change & i'm pretty sure there's a thread on the feedback site you could add your name to

in case anyone else wants to sign. Close to 8k votes and the thread have existed since 2014 and still no comment from MS... This will definitively make me purchase fewer games if I have to switch location and restart the box every time...
