How do I set a wallpaper on my Xbox One

How exactly do I send an image from my laptop to the Media Player app on the Xbox One to set as my wall paper?

Current game wallpaper on home screen - only showing top half

One of the things I was excited about with the Xbox One Creator's Update was that it would display the currently played/selected game's wallpaper on your home screen. However, when I set my home screen to use a background color instead of a custom image
or achievement art (the only way I can get the current game wallpaper to display), it only shows the wallpaper on the top half of the screen.

I figured I needed to set transparency higher, but when you have a background color selected, transparency isn't even an option. If I select a custom image or achievement art, I can set transparency, but then I see that art instead of the game wallpaper.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong, or did the videos I saw mislead me on the capabilities of this option?

It doesn't matter though, as you can just plug in a USB. The instructions were to plug a USB device,
or connect through DLNA. You could chose between them.

 

I don't have a USB device but I'll have a look at that link and see if I can get it sorted.

 

Ok I read it I get the jist what DLNA does so how exactly do I send an Image from my Laptop (it's windows 8.1 if that is important to know) to the Media Player app on my Xbox One?

 

I got it sorted found out I could do it from Windows Media Players. Thanks for the help Zen.
