    What is the process by which I can get a replacement console.

    My current console has a faulty disk drive and I want to send it to Microsoft to get it fixed/replaced and I was wondering how that process works. How much time is involved, what are the steps, etc. Do I have to send my physical console back, and where do

    When is the best time to send in my XBOX ONE

    I want to know because the problems that im having, I want them to have found the problem and fixed it befor i send out mine because if is send mine out now they will end up sending me another one with the same problems because they have not found out how
    to fix it yet. So what i am asking is when do you think they will find and fix most of the XBOX ONE problems and send me one back with the problems fixed.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about how to set-up a repair for your console.

    In order to
    set-up a repair for your console    , you first need to confirm that your console is registered to your account via the

    Devices     page.

    Once the device is connected, you should be able to select it for more options.

    Keep in mind that the original Xbox One console is no longer manufactured by Microsoft, nor is the console PSU. As a result, out-of-warranty support is no longer available for this particular product.

    Kinect not working

    @Mister Quimby. The issue is that we have all tried the trouble shooting guide and any other online support and Microsoft wants us to pay $69 to repair the Kinect that was not damaged by us, but by an update in software. How is that "HELPING" us at all???

    I for one will not hand over $69 to Microsoft + shipping to repair this problem which MICROSOFT is responsible for causing. The will simply update the software and send it back to me..

    Just give me a way to do it myself. Sending it back to you is simply an irresponsible and lazy fix on MICROSOFT.

    It is a wideley known issue that from DAY ONE, the Kinect has had similar issues and they replaced all Kinects for free.

    WE ARE SIMPLY ASKING FOR A FIX OR FREE REPLACEMENT on MICORSOFTS caused problem.

    The Xbox 360 I have is the newest model they released at E3 which resembles the Xbox One and I received it a few days ago. I wasn't sure if this was normal for this particular console and if it wasn't. Also, how would I fix this? Do I send it back to Amazon
