How do I reset (or restore to just after the first mission) Forza Horizon 3 game progress?

I would like to still use Cloud save after the reset.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any sort of guide to do so on our Xbox support site. I was however, able to find another player in our forums that was able to find a way to do this. You can find his

Ill go ahead and outline his solution for this here, let us know the results :

"Update: Found a work-around

1. Uninstall Game/App

1.1 Sign out of Xbox App

2. Go to https://account.live.com/consent/Manage Find the app and click the Edit button. On the next page click "Remove These Permissions".

3. Re-Install The app, in my case Hill Climb 2

4. (From memory here) Launch the app, it should ask if you grant permission for the app to access your Xbox data. Deny access or Just close the Sign in box.

5. Important. Play a few games - I played until Bronze II before proceeding to next step. (Not sure if Game Name is important, I did use a new name) **I Believe you would need to play enough of your
game to create a new save file for this step.

6. Go to the Game/app settings and connect Xbox. Now it should ask you if you want to use Cloud Data or Local Data.
Choose Local Data.

Done"

So, unfortunately, when you choose one progress on FH4 over another, there's no way you could choose it anymore, because this progress overwrote the other.

Hello Vinicius, thank you very much for helping. I am fine (though I just relised I might never see my forza horizon 4 save after 3 years of playing). I have a following question. If I reset the app (via applications->forza horizon 4->reset) will it reset the sync option, or will it delete my entire forza horizon 4 cloud save?

Have a nice day. Progress in Forza Horizon 4 is lost when I logged in other my PC. But I choose "Local saves". Can I restore my progress?

Usually progress is saved to the cloud as soon as you're connected to Internet.

Don't press reset on Forza Horizon app, just repair
