    How do I reset my parental controls PIN?


    My parents set a parental code long time ago and I want to remove it now only to find 1. I cannot sign into Xbox Live and my parents cannot remember the code. I've tried the "System info reset code" method and it didn't work

    Even if the account isn't linked to your 360 it should allow to reset the parental passkey. As provided above by Ezra, here's the Forgotten
    parental passcode reset for Xbox 360     article.

    If issue persists contact Live Support, they should be able to further assist as well.

    It's going to ask if you want help from the virtual agent select
    no thanks,pick the category(Games)and just pick a contact method

    hello MozLN the Xbox pin or Microsoft pin is different to parental control pin it could be that your parents have set the pin or you may have forgotten the pin if not i would suggest you contact Microsoft support to reset your pin: https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us

    Youll want to make a call to xbox support so they can give you a master password that will reset it and allow you to make a new one. That is the suggested way of doing it so that they can verify securities and whatnot.
