How do I reset add new account password

how do reset the password when the account in question is the one that got hacked and xbox sends the new password to that account?

i need to change my email on my xbox account because i dont know the password how do i do it ??

by changing the email this means that you wil create a new account and a new gamertag. you can try to reset the password to create a new password and access to yor account

yupp. I definitely followed exactly how that site told me. Perhaps my old account wasn't a Gold account. But it wouldn't accept my password, and then I followed the directions on how to reset it and directly after resetting my password, it immediately
gave me a new account.

If you know what the email and Microsoft account password is for the adult account you can just add it back to the console if you do not know what the password is but know the email you can go to account.live.com/acsr and fill out the account recovery form
and try to reset the password and once its reset you can then add it back to the console

My old Xbox might have been registered but I dont know how to check that.

I think the frustrating part is that I can get a password reset via my back up email on the account but when I reset the password the new password isn't recognized.
