How do I report a Microsoft hacked account?

This support is intended to answer questions about the use and configuration of devices.

I'm sorry your account has been hacked.

Follow the steps below to block your account.

A. Using Local Security Policy

Open Local Security Policy: Press Win + R, type secpol. ...

Navigate to Security Options: In the left pane, go to Local Policies > Security Options.

Modify the policy: In the right pane, double-click Accounts: Block Microsoft accounts.

Choose an option: ...

Save and apply:

Report and block them.

Microsoft will check their records for indications of hacking and if they find evidence, they will act on it. As Undeadfire stated, not everyone that says they hacked, actually did. Most people can't hack. Hacking another account to find their password,
usually the account owner reports their stolen account to Microsoft.

Microsoft does not take threats lightly. Depending on what the threat was and how much Microsoft believes the person can do it will determine what Microsoft does. At the very least, Microsoft can get them on threatening another player or what is called,
cyber-bullying/cyber-abuse. Microsoft is good at acting on these things and will insure your Xbox LIVE experience is enjoyable.

I understand what you are going through as a fellow gamer. With regards to what happened, have you somehow tried to recover your account via the password reset page at https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx ?

If for some reason the recovery information of your account has been changed, it would be best to contact the Microsoft Xbox team directly via https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us

On the page, click on "Contact us" > Subscriptions & billing > I can't redeem a code > Type in "Support" then there you should see option to message or request a callback from the Xbox team. The option I provided here is diferent, this is just a way to easily find the option to reach the Xbox support.

My apologies about what happened. I am just a fellow member here in the community so we don't have such tools to check an account status but you may do reach the Xbox team directly to see if they can do something about it.

I hope the information helps somehow on how to proceed. I suggest not to give out your personal information to anyone to prevent being hacked, another tip is to add at least 3 recovery information on your account and setup a 2FA which will increase your account security in the future.

You can see the FIFA icon next to my avatar. I don't even have a console! I have never played FIFA and I have never used a console, but now I have FIFA achievements in my account and my ms points have vanished. :O
