    How do I repair my Xbox One Controller?


    I got an Xbox One S for Christmas in 2018. The same day I got it, I accidentally dropped my controller, and now it randomly disconnects from the console. I've looked all over the Xbox website and forums and I wasn't able to find a way to send my controller
    for repairs.

    Anybody got any ideas?

    Hey there Firestarter 496,

    You'll actually need to register the console first. Once you've done that you'll have the option to "Repair an accessory" for which you can do the controller. Let us know if you're having any issues!

    How is that not a defect? The whole thumb stick is altering postion inside the controller casing, but the other stick is fine and doesn't do it, also my day one controller (before I sent it off to get "repaired") didn't do that in either thumbstick

    First off, how old is your controller? Also, what region would you be located in?

    If you are in the US, there is a 90 day warranty on controllers. If you live in the UK, there is a one year warranty for controllers.
