How do I repair my Xbox elite series 2 controller?

I paid 200$ for my Xbox series 2 elite controller and the left stick floats horribly when I set my controller down. When I pick it up, it stops. It is beyond frustrating. I have tried to call several electronic stores and they won't help me. My controller has been malfunctioning for a while and I just learned that it is a known issue with remotes but im about 3 months beyond my warranty. Im willing to pay to get it fixed but noone works on them. How do I send it off to pay for repairs?

I tried to fill out repair order, but, as mentioned above, those are the only options i got.

Bumper IS a known issue, as you can see.

Btw., it doenst matter what caused 2 years warranty, it is in place and i'm in the right to use it.

Thanks for the reply. The Elite controller series 2 has various methods of mapping the buttons and paddles as compared to the series 1. If you haven't done so already, I recommend taking a look at the following support articles that

Microsoft knew the controllers were defective and still sold them as a good product. they wont do anything to fix your controller because its most like out of warranty thats why the warranty was so short. The whole elite series 2 was a scam
