How do I rename my Xbox Controllers?

i wanted to reach out. i tried to follow the instructions on the provided link but i am still not able to have right click do anything for me. when i click on the 3 dots on the right the only option i have is to remove device. i am not sure if it is because i am running windows 11.

thanks I guess.... Anyway with this not working I cant play almost any game requiring the different names of the controllers (Like Mortal kombat series) so its quite frustrating that something that elementary does not work on mighty windows....

Your answer is the same Id used towards users in JIRA as I work in IS, so the message you wanted to send with this generic answer is cute but we all know it never happens this to be changed. Most funny part is that Im using MS product on MS OS and this is not compatible. I dont know what kind answer you have expecting from me? Im too old to be naive that this would be delivered in my lifetime.

Id rather expect even some "hacking" advice (as I found few on some web, I just need time to test it) from the devs which you haven't even contacted.

So here is the answer you desperately asked for in the email.

To sum it up. As long-term windows user (since 3.11) Im very very very unhappy with you answer (even tho I expected none at first place) because it did not resolved my issue or gave me any hint.

PS: The error message, really? You are not capable to deliver CLEAR message towards user that this is not possible? Especially when its about your own product. That's like 10 lines of code tops...
