How do i remove the child lock on my xbox account?

I'm Tim, an Independent Advisor here and an Xbox user like you. I don't work for Microsoft and do not have access to any of your data on their system.

I believe that only Microsoft direct can achieve this due to needing account access which unfortunately I don’t have.
The only option would be to speak to Microsoft direct by using the contact us option contained within the below link:-

This is exactly what happened to me! I transferred money from my Paypal to my child's Microsoft account for this, and now the money are locked there? Unbelievable! How do I get my money back?

It might be that your account is locked under family settings. If your account is under a Xbox family account, ask the owner of the account to give you permissions or remove you as a child.

If your child is a minor and is part of your Microsoft account family, you can revoke access to their account.

Keep in mind that after the child account is removed, it will not be able to use Xbox Live until they are added to another family account.
