How do I remove my Xbox account from a console I do not have access to? (Urgent)

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. NiNjaZ3r0, we understand that you are seeking a way to secure your account now that you no longer have access to you console.

As stated by Xbox Forums MVP Ambassador and Moderator Smwutches, once your password is changed, whomever has access to
your console will be prompted to enter in the new password, even if your account is configured to let you sign in automatically.

Additionally, no purchases will be able to be made on your account without first connecting to Xbox Live, which will again, prompt you to enter in the new information for your account.

There is, however, the chance that others will be able to play your digital games as well as use any Xbox subscriptions you have, if you have your Xbox One configured as your

Home Xbox. This shouldn't cause any trouble for you, as they will be unable to sign into your account once the password is changed, but I felt the need to inform you on this tidbit.

If you ever get a new Xbox One console, this can then be re-configured as your Home Xbox, and will let anyone on your new console use your games and Xbox subscriptions without you needing to be signed in. You can only have one Xbox
One configured as your Home Xbox at a time so once this is done, the other console will need to be signed into your account to access those games or benefits or purchase them themselves.

You cannot do this. However, the next, safest option is to change your password and security information.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. My account is signed in automatically once the xbox boots up and security has no passcode. Any recommendations on how to deal or counter this?

You can change your password to keep someone from signing into your account, but there is no way to remove the account remotely.

Also things like your credit card information would be tied to your account information, not the hard drive. So unless someone else is signing into your account, they won't have that information.
