    How do I remove my credit card information from my account?


    I've tried several times to remove my credit card information from my account. I don't want automatic renewal. And I really don't want my bank account information permanently fused with my XBoxLIVE account. There's no reason for me to pay for a whole new
    year of XBoxLIVE as I don't even own an XBox one. Just a 360. And since its over a year old its likely to RRoD soon. So I just want my credit card info removed please. I don't think that's unreasonable.

    cant remove my credit card info from payment options

    i have been trying to remove all of my credit card information from xbox live due to recent hacker issues i have been reading about. It would be bad nuff to lose my profile, wors to loose hundreds of $ becase some one got my credit card info. Any one know
    how to remove ALL credit card info from payment options?

    Every time I find an option under billing that says "Remove payment option" it redirects me to this page.

    support.xbox.com/.../remove-xbox-live-payment-option

    There is no "Payment & billing" option. And when ever I click billing, then remove payment option, I'm sent back to the link above.

    Well it took about 50 tries over about 4 months but my credit card info is finally removed. And the moral of the story is: never give your credit card information to a video game console.

    How do I remove my credit card from my account?

    if you have a card tied to an active account that has auto renew turned on, call support have them turn it off. once the subscription runs out and goes back to silver THEN you can remove the card. but if you have them remove the card before the gold runs
    out it will cancel the live account.
