How do I remove an account from the list on the Xbox Indentity Provider app?

On Windows 10 when logging intoan app such as the Xbox Console Companion App, another app will appear called the Xbox Identity Provider app. I have unused and unneeded accounts listed on this app. Is there anyway to get rid of them for good? I would only
like my main account to appear when logging in.

If you have not yet done this go ahead and start by removing your account from the Xbox One and then adding it back. Take a look at the link below if you're not sure how to do this.

Yeah I have the same problem .So everytime i open Xbox on Pc. It's said that i can't log in right now . and then give me the error code: (0x409) 0x80080300 . there is an app called Xbox indentity provider. It's said i need to upgrade. and i can'r upgrade

Thank you for keeping us updated. We recommend attempting to remove the Microsoft account with the steps we will provide. Let us know if this helps!

Select the Start button
Select Settings
Select Accounts
Find the Microsoft account you used to sign in to the Xbox app and select
Remove
Go back to the Xbox app and sign in with the Microsoft account you just removed
