Here is general information on Microsoft Account security including checking recent activity. Try following these steps:

1. Login to Microsoft.com and select your profile icon at the top > My Microsoft Account you will be taken to the dashboard.

2. Select Security Drop down > Security Dashboard > Advanced Security Options
3. Turn on two-step verification to prevent unauthenticated users from logging into your account
4. Make sure you know your password before completing this step, select "Sign me out" and it will remove unauthorized access from all devices, excluding Xbox consoles.

I have not requested to remove or add any info since my account was stolen

It was hacked into and i was locked out as they removed my email and phone number from the account

I recieve an error regarding my current password is invalid and rerouted to send an email to the email that took the account

I do not have any notifications telling me how long i have left which is the reason why i am frustrated, i do NOT get a sign in message with that text, i only get it when trying to manually change the info myself after recovering the password.

Well my problem is I’ve never needed a parent/guardian sign in (until recently for some reason), and if the DOB on the account can’t be changed, the Xbox considered my account a parent account when trying to get a parent/guardian sign in.

When I do sign in using the same account on the parent/guardian screen it just puts me back to the password screen.

I set up my account years ago with an email that is no longer valid. I've changed all my account settings and removed the old email, but when I try to sign in to the store, it asks for the password to the old (supposedly removed!) email. When I enter the
password, it says it doesn't recognize the email (probably because it's been...you know...DELETED!)

I've gone through the steps of entering my current email and getting the code via text to reset my password. And I'm actually signed in to the store with the new email, but when I try to download a game, the sign-in box pops up with, you guessed it, the
old DELETED email. There's no way to change it.

Should I delete the Store app and reload it? I'm not sure how to do that, so step-by-step instructions would be great. Thanks!

I used a old email and I forgot the password so I can't get back in it and I really need that account I can't change the password bc i don't have that email its old and so is the phone number

A workaround that you can do to remove your Xbox profile that was signed in to the Xbox app on Windows 10 is to change your account's password. This will not automatically remove the profile but it will sign out the Microsoft account you've used to sign
