How do I relink my discord account to my Xbox account if it won’t let me?

I just booted up my Xbox Series X to play some games and I went to use discord but it said that I had to relink my account. So I went to the settings to relink the account, but it still wants me to relink the account even though I’ve gone through the process of relinking over 10 times now. It’s just weird because I’ve never had a problem like this before. If anyone has a way to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

PS. I did follow the support page instructions from another person who had the same question and unlinked the account from both sides and then relinked it but still nothing.
