How do I recover my old gamertag on my pc

Please tell me how to recover my old xbox 360 gamertag on my PC account. The gamertag attached to my email is not mine. I do not own any xbox consoles. I only have the Windows Xbox app.

Have you tried completing the Account Recovery forum yet - https://account.live.com/acsr. You'll have to enter as much information as you can about the account you are
trying to recover, assuming it was a Live account on the 360 and not a local account (not connected to any Live account).

Unfortunately this won't work because the email I used for that gamertag and live account is the one I'm logged into now with the wrong gamertag attached.

Hello SwordsmanFl, when we change the Gamertag it may take some time for it to be updated in all developer databases, including Mojang.

I don't know how you ended up without your original Gamertag but once it's changed it's not possible to get it back.

I cannot recover my old gamertag due to the new dashboard update requirements. I cannot remember my old history and I dont want to start over. I'm moving to PC and doing my best to avoid microsoft products there as well. thanks, and so long!
