How do I recover my gaming account after resetting my xbox one game console

According to your description, you reset your Xbox one console. Then you seem to have account problems.



Your Xbox account data and game library are saved in the cloud. In theory, you can just reset your Xbox console and log in to your account. Resetting the Xbox console will not clear any of your progress and games.

Resetting the Xbox console will only clear all logged in accounts on your console and clear login information.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand that Resident Evil 0 HD is turning off your console during a cinematic scene is that correct? Is this the only game that is doing that or do other games turn off the console.
If you have already uninstalled and reinstalled it I would recommend a Soft Factory Reset.

How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One. I recommend using the "Keep my games and apps" option.

Note: You will need your Microsoft Account Email and Passwords to recover any gamertags after any resets.
