Did your son have two-factor authentication (2FA) active on the account? If he does have the 2FA active, is he able to access the second factor of authentication? Microsoft takes account security very seriously, that's why Account Recovery is an automated process with no human influence. If your son doesn't have the correct information, he may not be able to get through account verification using the Recovery Form.

The Account Recovery Form requires adequate information to prove that your son is the owner of the account. The Account Recovery Process can be a time-consuming process, but providing as much info as possible from the start of the process will increase the possibility of being verified by the automated process. He will need to keep trying until he is verified by Microsoft.

Remember to use a familiar device from which he has frequently accessed his Microsoft account, as well as a familiar location. Microsoft will review his responses and respond within 24 hours. The thing is, I apparently don't have enough data to recover my account.

You would need to contact official support at support.xbox.com/contact-us for further assistance on account recovery if he doesn't have access to the phone number.

I already tried that but we cant recover the account, im sorry, i dont know how to recover it, thank you so much but what else can we do ?

as i said before i already tried this method and it claims i do not have enough information to recover the account even though i have the correct password.

The issue with this is that if I go via the account recovery form, I can't progress because the account I'm trying to recover apparently "doesn't exist", as the email was deleted.
