How do I recover a lost account?

I made my friend an account to use for minecraft so that we can play in servers (keep in mind this is bedrock edition) and awhile ago they said they lost it. I didn't really care at the time and didn't do anything about it, but now I wanted to play bedwars with them on the Hive server so I tried to make them a new account, but they told me it said they couldn't because they already had an account called "TurbinalBug77" which I remember. My youtube is and if you find the right bedwars funny moments video, you will get a glimpse of their username when we played together. I do not remember the email to this account because I made a random one for it then forgot about it. I had no idea you could get kicked off of it, but now I do and don't want to make this mistake again. How do you fix this and recover the account back if you don't even know the email or number? Even the password I do not remember, this was made probably over 2 years ago.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your account data.

Based on your description, it might be possible that you are using a different Microsoft account since saved data, progress, and purchases are permanently attached to the Microsoft account.

You can confirm this by signing your account on account.xbox.com > go to achievements > and also check the gamer tag if you are using the same account.

Also, kindly sign in to your account on account.microsoft.com > go to payment and billing > then order history > from there, confirm if the purchases you have made are showing under your account.

If they don't show up it means that you are simply using a different account.

Do you remember if you registered either a phone number or alternate email to the account?

If you did you can use it to get part of your email to help you remember

Sign in options>Forgot username>Enter phone number or email address

If you did not then you need to go with the account recovery form

You will need to create a new one just to get pass to the form. Then if the info you provide is enough the system will match it to the actual lost account

said, the only way to recover these accounts is going to be through the self help options we have online, I will link them below just incase you are missing anything.

If you are able to recover your account then I would advise that you update your security information so that you never run into this problem again. It is always a good idea to keep this information updated just incase a password is ever forgotten.
