    How do I re-setup Xbox One?


    How do I go back to when you first startup the Xbox One without using a factory reset? I just got an upgrade to my internet so my Xbox needs to connect to it but I get no wired option. The only way it lets me try to connect is wireless and my Xbox can't
    do wireless. It always says it can't connect to the UP address, so I've always been wired. It's been like this since I got the Xbox some years ago. The only way I can connect is wired, but I only get the option to setup wireless. I figured that setting it
    up from the start will let me choose wired when it asks how I wanna connect. I think I've gotten to that setup again once but don't remember how I did it.

    Re-reading your posts I could possibly be some interference of some description and a hardware issue but there are a few things you can tried before thinking of sending your Xbox One off to MS.

    How do you have your Xbox One, Receiver and TV setup cable wise?

    Are you US, European based or other?

    Just a heads up, you cannot use your PC for your Xbox console because both platforms are different. However, you have the option to play your Xbox console remotely to your PC.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    According to Xbox support:

    "Several home routers support IPv6 but disable it by default. Check the manual for your router, or visit our Networking Hardware Information support forum."

    If you have access to your router settings you may need to manage it from there and once enabled, your Xbox should automatically detect the changes.
