How do I re-enable Minecraft Multiplayer on my account when "cross-network play" and...

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to use Cross-play with Minecraft.

For this, I would recommend that you verify that your
cross play settings are enabled on your account.

Additionally, I would recommend that you
re-install the game as this will give you the most recent version of the title as well.

Regarding with the hard reset that you performed on your console, was it a reset where you select Reset and Remove Everything?

Does this used to work before, or this was the case ever since you got your Xbox console?

Are you using a child account? If you are using a child account, permission is needed from the parent account to enable the Communication & multiplayer settings like You can join multiplayer games, You can join cross-network play and You can communicate outside of the Xbox network with voice & text options. But if you are not using a child account, make sure also that these setting are enabled on your account. Hi there Monk,

Thanks for the reply! Insofar as game for cross platform or cross-network play, there are already some multiplayer games out there that allow it. One of those games is Fortnite and, I believe, another is Minecraft. Essentially, there are just a few titles
that allow cross-platform capability at this time, but hopefully more will be had in the future!
