How do I protect myself against basement dwellers who are taking my IP?

If you're connected to a public Wi-Fi hotspot especially you're in a college campus, anyone may find a way to get your IP address and perform an attack. As you can refer from the link below "Because an attack happens at the IP level, Xbox can't prevent DoS and DDoS attacks."

It's not just Xbox but we also have to take actions on how to prevent it. I recommend that you review this article here https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/... to learn more on how to prevent it from happening again and what other options to take.

So let me get this squared away...a highly anticipated product has the option to just appear randomly for pre-order? Well i do like my console launches like i like my games, sneaky and able to get you from behind. I would surmise it will be during working
hours or the dead of night. Consoles sold by basement and attic dwellers for basement and attic dwellers.
