    How do I protect my credit card from my child.


    It is way too easy for them to just hit purchase as my credit card is already entered. I don't want to setup a password so that they have to enter that every time he wants to play on the xbox 360, however I don't want them to be able to just purchase anything
    anytime. The xbox one does this perfectly...it requires a password for every purchase. Can this be done on the xbox 360?

    Very frustrated.

    I gave up

    I have credit card but I don't trust them because I gave them my credit card before and I took one month for 0.99 ok than after my month end I didn't play I was traveling they stole all my money and I didn't know. Every month they take money for new gold and no one play with my account. How is that possible ! Without my knowledge ?

    How do I protect my credit card from my child.

    There's no way to set a password for just purchasing.

    The best way would be to not keep the card on the account and use prepaid Xbox cards.

    An alternate thing you could look into, is a prepaid Visa/Mastercard that you can load up with cash for them to spend. Having this on there will allow you to take your real credit card off of the account. They can then add their pocket money or whatever
    to the card and you won't have to worry about them "accidentally" wasting your money on hats for their avatar and stuff.

    Thanks. I was able to remove the credit card that way, but I thought there was a way to turn off purchases through my parent account. I can't seem to find how to manage that. Do you just do it from the child's account?

    Well, that's a very particular incident but You can prevent that what I would do with my child is buy an Xbox card for Microsoft currency and buy the subscription that way without having to put my credit card information in. Other than that I have no clue how to keep your credit card on there without him buying other things.
