    how do I opt out of the up coming transition to Microsoft rewards? I've seen what you can get with points there and I'm not impressed. Would rather have the local currency on account to get a game honestly. Can anyone direct me where to go?

    How do i opt out

    You would go to Xbox Live Rewards although since the program is already technically over, I'm not sure if that will work. You'll want to post in the support section of this forum so they can clarify.

    You can still redeem Microsoft Rewards points for Xbox gift cards which will give you money for your account.

    I'm assuming this is a sweepstakes through the Rewards program? If so, you can try contact Microsoft Rewards support via the contact link at the bottom of the site.

    Anytime you win anything over a certain dollar amount, you have to fill out paperwork due to taxes.
