How do I not get screwed out of My Halo Limited Edition Series X if I send it in for repair?

There is no way to have your specific console returned to you. You will get the next system on the pile, same as everyone else.

Remember to only send the system if you decide to do so, and make sure the drive is empty, and no cables or controllers

Hello Benjamin, in this case, instead of requesting the repair of your console through the online form, contact Xbox support and request your warranty and check with the Microsoft agent if, when sending it for repair, they will send you a console equal to what you have.

Am I able to send it back and switch it for a different one that was factory sealed and untouched like the one I received? I spent $1300 on this Xbox series x halo infinite limited edition by setting aside cash to get my hands on it and it took me from November to June to save up for it and all my money now is going strictly to my first car before senior year of highschool starts in august,

So with that in mind, I set my only options for fixing this problem without cutting into my budget and spending extra money to have it repaired is to either send it back or see if there’s a way swap it for one that was factory sealed and perfectly new like the one I received, but I do understand how rare this limited edition of the series X is so I’ll accept if my only option is to send it back.

Hello Pete, unfortunately we don't have similar reports with the Series X Halo Edition or even the regular edition.

When sending it for repair, support informed you correctly, if they don't have the Halo Edition available they will send you the normal edition.

if you do not want to send the console to Microsoft for repair, you will have to wait to see if the problem is fixed in the next update.

I paid 1k for the limited edition and it doesn’t work properly, whenever I try to open halo Infinite, the Xbox glitches out and shuts off, please help I spent so much on a perfectly new untouched Xbox series x limited edition
