How do I make a new xbox the "Home" unit.

So today the "Family" Xbox got the red ring of death. It was old and had served us well and we were talking about getting a new one anyway.

We have 2 360s in the house, the one that died was the Family console that was our "Home" unit, meaning that if I bought a game I would download it to that console first so that everyone in the house could play it on their gamertag. The 2nd unit is my unit
in the master bedroom. This has all the games *I* play and isn't cluttered with the kids games. (I also have my games on the Family console in case I want to play while my wife is asleep).

My question: When we buy a new 360, how do I make it the "Home" unit so I can redownload all of the purchased content so everyone can play them?

It is extremely hard to make a good looking face at lest for me. I never tried a female character but for me it is always the cheeks, can never get them to look non-puffy.

Since you are on the 360, best think to do is what Ilusion said, use randomize option until you get the face shape close enough to what you like, then carefully and slowly tweak the other features.

The "Home" setting is only available on the One console, not the 360. What you need to do is perform a license transfer on the account that purchased the content.

Ah, ok, thanks. Will that affect the games I have on the upstairs console? Or since it's my gamertag will I still be able to play them?

When you purchase content you're given two licenses basically, one that's tied to your gamertag and one that's tied to the console. The console one is the one that allows all other profiles to access the content. So the license transfer moves that license
to whatever console you need it on. Your account can redownload and play the content on any console as long as you are signed into Live, but your account would be the only one to be able to access the content if it's on a console without that console license.

Hi I am so sorry I am trying to understand. Thank you for your help and patience. Are we saying that right now that the son who owns the content is set up at the moment with other son's old Xbox as his home Xbox which is why it works on that one still. Now if I'm following we need to make the new Xbox X the home on sons condole that owns everything instead of the old one? Xbox for dummies....how do I do that? Do I go into sons Xbox that owns all content and then how do I pick or find new Xbox console to make as home console. I hope I'm making sense! When I go on son that owns all the content Xbox under his setting there is just an option for "make this the home Xbox" and I don't think that's what I want because you're trying to tell me that we want to make the new Xbox x his home console. Does that mean we have to go on the new XBOx X and somehow have it pick son with contents Xbox? I'm sorry I am so confused but feel like you're getting me closer. Just. It sure how to make this happen on what Xbox and how I select it. Don't want to do it wrong and waste those 5x home switch. So appreciate this!
