How do I login into my Fortnite account with my Xbox Account

How can I login my Fortnite account on Nintendo and transfer it to my Xbox account?

I understand, in this case could you try resetting/changing your account password and then try again?

why won’t it allow me to sign into my Fortnite account and gives me a link and a code eveytime

All I know is my fortnite username, it just let my play immediately and I have no idea what do do. I tried loging in using my Xbox account on my phone and it did nothing. Now I'm downloading it on my switch and I want to transfer my account to keep my progress but I don't know my login, can you help me?
